How Capsa Susun Works on rdr2
Capsa Susun—known as "Kartu Capsa" or "Arrange Poker" in English—is played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives eight cards dealt one at a time. Your goal is to arrange all eight cards into three poker hands: the bottom row (five cards), the middle row (three cards, sometimes called the "three hand"), and the top row (two cards, sometimes called the "two hand"). The bottom row must be the strongest, the middle row second-strongest, and the top row the weakest—a constraint called "hand progression."
Once you place your cards, you compare each of your three rows against the dealer's corresponding rows. If you win all three comparisons, you win the round. If the dealer wins two or more comparisons, the dealer wins. If you "bust"—meaning your hand progression breaks (e.g., your top hand beats your middle hand)—you lose immediately.
On rdr2, Capsa Susun tables run on live-dealer streaming from our broadcast studio. A dealer sits at the table, deals physical cards, and confirms the card values on camera. You arrange your hand on your mobile or browser interface, submit it, and the dealer arranges his hand and compares all three rows. The round settles instantly.
Hand rankings in Capsa Susun
Card rankings follow standard poker rules. High card is weakest; a royal flush is strongest. On rdr2, the dealer announces card values as each hand is placed. All three of your rows must follow strict hierarchy—your weakest row stays on top, your middle row in the middle, and your strongest row at the bottom.
New players often place their strongest hand on top by accident. Our guide on rdr2 tutorials shows common mistakes. Practice rounds help you learn without real deposits.

Playing Capsa Susun: table stakes and round flow
Each Capsa Susun table on rdr2 displays a minimum and maximum stake—for example, tables might range from our welcome offerinimum to our welcome offeraximum per round. You choose your stake before the dealer deals your eight cards. Once the cards arrive on your screen, you have a time limit (usually two to three minutes) to arrange your three hands and submit.
If you do not submit within the time limit, rdr2 automatically arranges your cards—usually placing them in descending order, which often results in a bust. To avoid this, stay alert and tap "Confirm" as soon as you are happy with your arrangement.
After you submit, the dealer arranges his cards and each row is compared. The result appears on screen: you either win the round, lose the round, or bust. Your account balance updates instantly. The next round begins when the dealer reshuffles and deals a fresh set of eight cards to all players at the table.
